McQueen was so fucking great. BULLITT, LE MANS, THE GREAT ESCAPE...too many great films.

The scene where he gives up the grocer job just to help the town gets me every time. I don't know why. There's just something awesome about seeing these fucking tough guys being so helpful and also damn vulnerable.

It's an incredible movie. Great soundtrack too.

The scene where COBURN declares to the group after being dumped in the desert that nobody dumps his gun in front of him and orders him to ride away is classic.

Do you know what he actually died of? It wasn't listed where I looked it up. He couldn't have been as old as the others.

Sad as hell. His performance in that movie was severely under-rated.
