Well, after several phone calls, I managed to get ahold of Scott Baio's last known agency. His former manager told me that Scott's basically all but retired from acting and decided to try his hand at something a little less taxing - specifically medicine. I asked where I might be able to get in touch with him at, and two phone calls later I found myself speaking with the head physician of Bentley Little Hospital, located in scenic Gary, Indiana. It seems that Scott has taken on the position of brain surgeon there after his acting career (and fucking career) went tits up.

The lack of actual schooling for the art of brain surgery didn't really seem to phase the hospital, apparently, after a sizable contribution from Scott. I can understand this (I mean, really, he's Scott fucking Baio...let's try and get a grip on reality here...the man can do whatever he wants, right?).

Anyway, they weren't going to let me speak to him at first, something about an emergency surgery that he was involved in. Of course, once I started dropping names like, oh...CARL...and ED...and WILL...and DR. SATAN...and THE COZ...and MERLE...and IGOR...I think the head physician started to figure out exactly WHO he was dealing with, so he took the cordless phone down to the ER to let me talk with Scotty.

Anyway, I told Scotty that the Sheep Pen of the Roth Army Forums was MAYBE looking for some additional weight within the ranks of the Death Squad...and that his name MIGHT have come up in passing...and that we MIGHT want him to keep his schedule available in the future, JUST IN CASE we'd like to call him in for an interview (of course, I left no guarantees...guarantees are for pussies who have no sense of adventure).

To say that Scott was excited about the prospects of future employment within the Death Squad might be understating it a bit...as soon as I got off the phone with him, the fax machine started ringing and I got a brand new publicity photo right then and there of Mr. Scott Baio...apparently he's pretty excited about the possibility of employment here (and who WOULDN'T trade a career as a brain surgeon for the life of a Death Squad hitman??? Jesus Christ, people, let's try to keep things in perspective, hmm?).

Scott Baio may need some further examination within the next week, I say.
