I watched the new Digital Repwoductions boot today called Scorin at the Forum (Montreal 84). Man that thing is badass. The stage setup was awesome, tons of room for Dave to go buck wild. One of my favorite parts is when Ed and Mike are up high playing keyboards (during I'll Wait) and Dave has the whole stage to himself, very cool. I wish I could have been there for an 84 show, or an 83, 82, 81, 80, 79, 78, or 77 show lol. They smoked so hard back then, kicking ass and taking names, damn that was awesome.

Why the hell can't there be any bands like that anymore?? Dave out there, doing flips, working the crowd, dancing his ass off, there's nobody even trying to do that anymore. You see these new bands, singers just stand there and sing, I want entertainment!!!!!!!!

Dave was not just a singer, he was an entertainer. He knows how to work the crowd.

Lou brought up this brilliant idea earlier to me. And I think it's great. The only thing I want to be made clear is that this won't be an all-out witchhunt campaign. It's just poking a bit of fun. We can even have the concert visitors defending their actions. Hey, I attended the '95 BALANCE Toronto show (as my good buddies Guwapo and Pete pointed out), and I defended my actions as me being a misguided 20-year-old that wanted to see Ed play and hear some classic Van Halen live (I heard four songs), and boy have my opinions changed.

I know some good people here that went to those shows...lms for one. But it doesn't mean this wouldn't be a fun idea.:D
