Can you solder it staight in or do you need to change
the cap/pot/ also ??

Ive seen some dudes advertising hotrails for strats with
cap and pot ???

It's best to use a 500k pot, but some people like how a 250k pot alters the tone.

A 250 will give slightly less treble...

It's personal preference...

From all the advice Ive been given (Including your own) its seems
the hotrails are the go.. Did you see they now advertize them
as "HotRails for Strats" (Or did they always do that ????)

What you have on your tone control is fine...

I imagine you keep your tone controls wide open as I do...

If so, it's a non-issue...
