Bush is going to win Ohio also.
I don't see much Kerry support in the yards around town. if it has a sign, it has Bush/Cheny on it, lmmfao.

But this is Soutern Ohio, and Northern Ohio are the the results to be watching today.
The North generally votes Liberal, but the polls this year haven't shown even an equal support it had for Gore in 2000 while Bush's numbers have pretty much remained the same.

My guess?
Bush "WINS" Ohio by tonight, and hopefully the registering surge here results in more Conservative votes instead of Liberal one's, so the win is by enough votes not to be contested.

And then there is what the Electorate decides to do of course, lol.

Folks, I don't feel as though we have a choice in this matter, so focus on your local issues where your vote is the number by which they win.

The more i think about it, I still don't like the electoral college....but that's another issue for another thread.

And remember, A great government has to be built from the ground up. That's where we DO decide who sits where, and if one of them makes it to run for President? Chances are they will be one hell of a sight better than the two knuckleheads I just had to choose from this morning.

We could just as easily had two "AWESOME!" people to choose from, but that is a pipe dream apparently.

actually, seriously, i can't stress enough how right you are about the local elections. not just on the congress and ballot/bond issues during the presidential elections, but the off-years as well.

state and local governments have a tremendous impact on people, but too many people ignore them. true, on the one hand, local and state officials gain experience that can help them work their way up to national politics, but even if they stay local, their decisions impact our day-to-day lives.

(sorry for the rant, guys...it's just the local government in me bitching:D)
