Self-employed people are supposed to pay self-employment tax, and hence would be quantifiable to the gov't.

Now if they are self-employed in one of the many black-market industries in this country then they would be below the radar.

it may be just you but the press in this country would hammer bush for doing so. i also forgot to point out it was done when it was done not just for the heat but for the sand stroms. you saw how the military was stopped because of one and how some in the press said the operations were a failure becuas ethat had to wait a few days for it too clear.

I am aware that the weather conditions in Iraq were a concern during the invasion. Not a pointed question, but how come we didn't hear about the heat or sandstorms at all in 2004?

You just said he was dead god-damnit! (just fuckin' with you). I really do think he's dead. But he's still talking. The question is: whose hand is up his ass?

there was stuff about the heat a few helicopter crashes because of the sand. as far as obl i was just throwing out there what might be happening with the tapes.just a theory floating around. i heard in feb/march 02 that the small building he was in was hit by an artillary round fired by a afghan warlord at a village. the building was hit and burned down with him in it. the shell wasen't fired at obl it was fired over a dispute of some sort. i also heard we checked a grave site that for some reason held some signifgance to the arabs fighters in the area after they were observed for many months visting the site. what became of it we'll never know

He is a lucky bastard no matter what. Just to have survived in that region without being randomly fragged is pretty good luck.
