I don't know how you'd score it, but I guess I'd consider myself a "non-political"; I believe in freedom and oppose ANYTHING that imposes on other people's freedoms...and I believe that both Republicans and Democrats are responsible parties and have had almost equal hands in that over the years. I know I do better financially with a Democrat in the white house; I consider myself conservative-minded to a degree, but I think this administration has jumped about 238 miles over the line that I'm comfortable with.

I supported war against Osama and those protecting him, so long as the result was his capture/death, and the capture/death of those associated with his extremist views. I don't support the war in Iraq and would love to see it come to an end, but I also think we're entirely too deeply entrenched in it now to leave it with anything other than a complete clusterfuck - which will probably be the end outcome, anyway.

I don't harbor any personal animosity towards G.W., but I am of the opinion that he doesn't have much worth speaking of going on upstairs. I consider him a tool of his father's administration. I consider him an extension of Dick Cheney's influence. I consider him a puppet on a string that just doesn't know any better, and for that, I feel badly for him. But - I'm not the sort to go out into the streets and plug up traffic with a bunch of zealots who aren't all that much different than the religious extremities which support him with all their fervor.

I am American enough to accept that the majority of the public voted him back into office, preferring the devil they knew in favor of the X factor. I sincerely hope that, Republican or Democrat, the white house, international policy and homeland policy (among other things) will get a MAJOR overhaul in a few years and am hopeful for the future.

That's me, so score it as you will.
