You have to admit that a hugely televised event with so many people in attendance is of course a tempting target for terrorism. Is there supposed to be no security? Actually, that is one of the oldest fears regarding terrorism.Originally posted by Jesterstar

Having said that, I once had a Media Studies professor, an ex-hippie and ex-Marxist, that referred to the 1991 Buffalo Bills vs. NY Giants halftime show as "Nurembergish" because of the Gulf War dimension and the overt militarization of the show.
Now if the troops would have used their weapons properly, like clubbing Justin Timberlake within' an inch of his life, not that would have been a fine half-time spectacle!
