I am a telemetry nurse, that is, I specialize in cardiac nursing...

I don't know anything about Christian science. If they think they can judge weather someone is ready to die or not, I'm afraid of that...

No hospital that I know of performs abortions, and no, I would never work for an abortion clinic...

BTW - as I understand it, Christian Science takes the same approach to medicine as creationism vs. evolution. I could be wrong. As I understand it, it pisses me off. The thinking (in the broadest strokes) is that everything happens for a reason, and that reason is God's will. So if you lose an arm while cooking dinner, it shouldn't be re-attatched, b/c God wanted it that way. If you have a heart attack, defribbilators shouldn't be used, b/c that's man-made, and attempts to stop and prevent God's will (and, even worse, through man-made means).

I can't figure out why CS's adherents don't view that God gave us the means and the capacity to create these things, so they should be used, and are part of God's "masterplan", etc etc.

Again, I might be off a little.

God is not against doctors and surgeons...

Their abilities are God given gifts...

These christians that pray for healing instead of going to the doctor are crazy...
