but seriously, how can we "cure" the warpness of people if we don't figure out first just what went wrong with them? if all we do is "KILL KILL KILL", it really leaves zero time or patience for study. im against the death penalty, as I do believe the process has proven NOT to work- (people STILL commit murder)- and Im against life in prison as it ties up the system and cost tax payers money for other peoples crimes. Damned if you do...well you know.

I think the death penalty has failed because of the appeals process. Once they're found guilty they have more legal resources at their disposal than the average citizen! They choke the legal system with their petty suits too! End that and open up the cells and start making those fuckers pay for what they did and then you'd see crime go down.
