The agenda of Sinn Fein is to eradicate the British control over
Ireland. They want a united Ireland without Britain.
Take for example , (in the past) anytime Jerry Adams is shown speaking to reporters on BBC the brits will overdub a different voice over his , supposedly quoting him. (Censorship)
Yet when you see the same interview on the Irish news channel guess what........it's his real voice !

I guess what I'm getting at is...Bozo go home and try saving your own country first. Him yapping off about my country is a fuckin joke as well . We've got a Prime Minister who is a complete embarassment

Okay, that's your opinion. I know he's a limelight whore, but he's also a life-long Christian that has been consistent in his beliefs and actions his whole career, and prior to when they hit it big. Including doing things that he's kept quiet about, such as working in Famine relief in Ethiopia during the 80's.

Bono was always a big believer in an independant Ireland. He was a sell out to his own people and that right there makes him an IRA sympathizer no matter what he says. Remeber the IRA is the old Irish Republican Army. Even if Bono didn't support radical IRA factions he was still on the side of their cause. That makes him a sympathizer.

I think we will see parts of Canada and the US break up in the next few decades. One wild card in both countries is all the unchecked foriegn immigration. Also Canada and the US are becoming more and more dependant on imported goods and a trade deficite is never a good thing. It simply means your money is going into someone else's pocket.

I never bought into manufacturing would be replaced with services. Now the services are being outsourced. That just leaves the govt. jobs doesn't it and a few high paying jobs for top management while the middle class in general gets screwed.

Canada and the US are in the same boat. Less real industry and too much govt.

Bullshit. You cannot quote a single statement that Bono ever made that was in favor of the IRA. Rather he made several statements against them, the most obvious one being in the version of "Sunday Bloody Sunday" in the Rattle & Hum movie.

High tech kept us going but that too can be outsourced. Programming can be done overseas and of course the manufacturing of the hardware is all done overseas. Semiconductor manufacturing was lucrative for awhile but with no finished goods being made in the US or Canada anymore, they are just using Asian semiconductors.

The the rehtoric we all heard in the high school and in college about high tech being the savior, hasn't really held up. The only thing left is the health care industry and pharmacutical drugs.

Bono will come and go. The only thing that will unify the Irish is jobs. The young Irish are pretty well educated and the economy in Ireland right now is better than it has been with companies locating plants there. The whole fucking revelution goes away if the people in Ireland can make a living and they no longer need a scape goat.

Bono saying "Fuck the Revolution!" and showing up for photo opportunities when the Irish Unite doesn't have much to do with the sollution.

I'll give Bono some credit, U2 should be cooked and done. Their songs all sound the same and have sounded the same for years. It's Bono being in the press all the time and calling people out that keep people interested in the band. They go to see Bono and The Edge and the rest of them provide the background music. Seeing U2 is like watching a hell of a baptist preacher doing his thing. People get off on it. Some people, not me.

The person from Ireland who had the real balls was Sinead O' Connor. She ripped up the pope on Saturday Night Live and ruined her career. Bono would never ruin his career like that.

The only thing good that's from Ireland is their booze. But then Mexico makes good booze too and I like their food better.
