Why the attacks on folks with beliefs? Why does somebody have to be 'brainwashed' to believe God exists? It's just as valid a belief to have as opposed to believe that we got here by a universal fart.

I'm amazed at how Europeans insult Americans so much, especially after the number of times we've gotten your ass out of the grinder.

Yes, it most definately did leave an impression on my mind, one of spiritual contempt as a matter of fact.
That was the first time in that pastors 8 months at this church, that he put his hands on people as though he were some high and mighty prophet healer.

I'm not gong back there.

I am not a believer in the laying on of hands healing bit, especially when his main example was a young black man with MS.
I have a special interest in people afflicted with MS and all he basically did was take his cane away and told him to walk.

The man fell on his face and there was no physical change in his condition from Pre-Healing to Post-Healing.
Then there was this excuse that it will take time for God to heal the muscles and blabidy blabidy blah, so on and so forth....Didn't Jesus raise Lazarus from the dead like right now?

4 weeks later, still no change........

I'm not a sheep, bro.
I don't cling to things just because they fit my personal frame of mind or follow my beliefs.
I am a skeptic and would have to stick my fingers in the wounds of Jesus to believe he was standing in front of me.

The problem I have with the UK prisoners is that they were picked up in the mountains of Afghanistan. Now why were they there? It's not exactly a tourist hot spot.

Common sense has to come into play rather than relying on a legal system that always gives the benefit of the doubt. Ask yourself the question why a UK citizen, with no Afghan relations, would go running around in the mountains over there? The only realistic answer is that they were up to no good. Personally I'd have had them shot on arrival back in the UK.
