Yeah, but frankly, I take even more offense at former CEO's of massive companies with their wives still on the Board of Director's telling me how the Middle East should be settled (and justifying human rights violations in the name of the big dollar). That's a lot more offensive than fat Garafolo telling me how I should be thinking about government.

To be honest, the celebrities bore the piss out of me because they're not all great role models. But I also blame CNN and the media outlets...I think it's deliberate. They'll put JESSICA LANGE or SEAN PENN on the screen because of who they are and because they don't always help the issue. But try to get CNN to even mention NOAM CHOMSKY's name.
