My roommate's brother is 21 and lost his arm to an IED while serving in the Marines in Iraq. His discontent for Bush is off the fucking scale. He used to believe in this country and that he was fighting for was "worth it" but now discourages others to join up and fight for this brain dead fuck of a President and also tells of how many a Marine he still communicates to back in Iraq have nothing but apathy for Bush's empty words.

Now I know when you sign up to join the (US) military there's a strong possibility that'll you go to war but to fuck over this guy's life -- for his was a musician too -- by having his arm blown off because our fearless leader served him up a deep dish of lies is beyond the pale of anger for me. This so-called "speech" wasn't about "freedom" "liberty" or any other catch word. It was about the propaganda of ratings of which Bush has none. Now the people who onced believed and trusted in him are turning away. I hope that tide of change continues.

It's just sad and I don't want to appear to come off as sounding condescending to the guy but seeing someone who lost their entire arm at the age of 21 just angers me beyond words that I cannot express. I saw him about two weeks ago when his visited us (really his sister) and he just sat there and cried. And thanks to Bush there are thousands just like him - their lives forever shattered by some power-hungry puppet with a hard on over raping Iraq's resources so we can get fat in our god damn SUV's. It makes me sick to see what America has become under this President.

It's like how that saying goes, "Bush is going to 'save' the Iraqi people but who is going to save us from Bush?"
