Cat, it sounds like a park ranger needs a campaign mounted against him. Listen, I'm not bullshitting you: it sounds like this clown has a bad case of 'badge Viagra'. Same shit happened to me when I was 17: me and a couple of guys were in a band, and we were borrowing a P.A. and a couple of amps that another band had (yes, we had permission ). Well, some dickhead neighbor called the cops when we showed up to pick up the gear, thinking we were just pilfering everything. We had some cockwad state goon show up, and he proceeded to give us (including me) a bunch of Joe Pig/Barney Fife bullshit - after the guy that lived there showed up and told him it was cool! I told my old man what happened, and he called the superintendent of the local barracks, whom he happened to know. It turned out that this fag wasn't even liked by his own fellow troopers because of his own high opinion of himself, and they were looking for a reason to transfer (or accidentally shoot) the fucker. Needless to say, they found a way to get rid of his ass two years later.

But not before that faggot nailed me for a DUI at 3 a.m.

I had a cop be kind of dickly (though deservedly, I admit) to me today.

Basically, when I dropped off my girlfriend for her trip to see her folks, I stopped right in front of a sign that said "NO STOPPING ANY TIME" so that she could get in quickly and I could go to work.

Right then, cop in a van pulls up next to me and goes, "What part of that sign do you not understand?" in what I assume to be his best "talking down to you" voice.

I don't usually deal well with people talking down to me, but I bit my tongue and just gave him an uncomprehending look and so he shook his head and drove off.

I find it works well when you act like you can't even comprehend another person.

That happened to me when i was 17 and parked on the wrong side of the street.
ALL my friends were laughing their ass off at me.

It was suburban street and i was just going to run in the house i was in front of and pick up my guitar and amp.

I've had my share of run-ins with the law but that was humiliating...
