I was watching a documentary on Lyndon Johnson a few months back on a digital channel. There was a very shocking realization mentioned regarding the single biggest moment that affected his life as a politician in Texas. I do not remember the name of the fella it involved but it is the moment that MADE Lyndon Johnson. A very close friend and noted criminal happened to get away with murdering Johnson's opponent before the election. I wish I could remember it all but it was very clear they had been friends since childhood and that was the first real office he would hold on his way to eventually stealing the presidency and some would say committing murder himself.
I don't have anything against Texas. Good job at The Alamo guys but I can't believe that a guy who can't tie his own shoes wins the presidency after being a one term governor. I re-enlisted before 9/11. I was due to get out in literally 6 months and 5 days when I was notified I would be doing a six month deployment because the guy who was supposed to go decided he needed to snort a line. I was in my window to do resumes and start looking. Couldn't do a real interview from 10,000 miles away and 9 hours ahead of the Eastern time zone. So, when we hit tax free I sold my soul knowing I was not gonna get a job in 5 days for $30,000. If you've ever re-enlisted, you know you get a moment where you are officially discharged and can say or do whatever you want before taking the oath again without any consequences. I saw through Jr. then but I really wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt. That was February of 2001. I can not repeat what I said because I am no longer free to say such disrespectful things without serious legal problems. I can not for the life of me understand how a guy not even qualified to be an ice cream man is holding the highest office in the country. I can repeat the last sentence before swearing in again. "I really hope he proves me wrong for all our sake!"
To break it all down for ya: I would not be the least bit surprised if G.W. walked in front of the Whitehouse and gave a press conference saying they helped plan 9/11. I truly mean that. I have never seen a more blatant abuse of power and back patting in my life. When politicians GIVE government contracts to associates they have personally or publicly done business with, without allowing competition be bid on, it is gross abuse of power and a conflict of interest. That is the reason such laws were written to begin with. Tell me who has made more off these two wars? HMMM! The company that the second in charge used to be CEO of and still receives kickbacks from. I don't think there has ever been a more publicly brazen and crooked administration in all of history and I'm including Rome!
