        This is about Iraq.

If you want to talk about Rwanda, talk to the Clinton administration.

I know you guys love to stray off topic, but let's try to keep this one clean from now on. If you want to talk about the Bible or about Rwanda, bring it up in a new thread.

Let's get back to Captain Powell, who Phil said was just an desk jockey, not a 'grunt'.

You do realize, Phil, that many officers were once enlisted, and then received a commission?

Maybe it has something to do with the fact that the topic's about him, Phil?

There are troops over there that will say morale is high and there are others that say it is low. I know guys who have been there and back, quite a few, and according to them it is true insanity over there. We are not even getting close to the truth. My one buddy, he's a guy that inspects cars for bombs, luckily he's still here, he's had a few close calls.

Another guy I ran into two weeks ago, he just came back from Iraq, and he found out that he has cancer now, and he's young.

Let's just send BBB, Warham, and Big Train over there already and call it a day.

Over 400,000 kids have up-to-date immunizations.

School attendance is up 80% from levels before the war.

Over 1,500 schools have been renovated and rid of the weapons stored there so education can occur.

The port of Uhm Qasar was renovated so grain can be off-loaded from ships faster.

The country had its first 2 billion barrel export of oil in August.

Over 4.5 million people have clean drinking water for the first time ever in Iraq.

The country now receives 2 times the electrical power it did before the war.

100% of the hospitals are open and fully staffed, compared to 35% before the war.

Elections are taking place in every major city, and city councils are in place.

Sewer and water lines are installed in every major city.

Over 60,000 police are patrolling the streets.

Over 100,000 Iraqi civil defense police are securing the country.

Over 80,000 Iraqi soldiers are patrolling the streets side by side with US soldiers.

Over 400,000 people have telephones for the first time ever.

Students are taught field sanitation and hand washing techniques to prevent the spread of germs.

An interim constitution has been signed.

Girls are allowed to attend school.

Those of us that believe our president and military and our allies are worthwhile and deserving of our respect have fallen for the same commie-lib diatribe they’re more comfortable with. The twaddle and prattling from the commie-libs and the rest of the erudite US populace deserve all the credit.
You forgot to mention the numerous suicide bombings targeting the IRAQ "security forces" and also the frustration many US troops are expressing while training them.

OK, Warham , BT, and I are on one side of our IRAQ WAR fantasy league. We get to be the coalition.

Cock, you get to choose two more pansy-ass liberals to play as the insurgents against us. Who do you choose?

We'll set up the rules once that is done.

That’s true Nick. And Jesterstar and Phil are making good points too. The truth may not be known about this whole operation for a few years, results and the like.
I know this for fact: You guys really need to read this. Tell me what you think.
Nick, you know I don’t shrink from disagreement or debate. Doesn’t mean much on these types of forums anyway. But do tell me what you think.

There's a side column op too. See what you think.
