That's ok that we disagree... we both have very different perspectives given the geographical separation, age and I do admit... y'all got far better beer. You're alright no matter what Von says about you.

Here's my theory on this whole clusterfuck.....

I believe the corporate "democrats" are downplaying this all right now because the Republican Convention/KKK rallly/MAGAt fan club meeting is next week. The play here is probably to let them run against Biden, and not give them any free ammunition by naming another candidate.

After the GOP convention is over though, it's time to get serious. Either you open up the Democratic convention in August to a delegate floor battle, or you go the 25th amendment route with Joe stepping down and Kamala running as an "incumbent" President for the last three months or so. Either way, they must have a name to put on the ballot by the end of the convention, or every last "red state" is going to put up some bullshit legal arguments to keep the Democratic ticket off the ballot altogether. Granted, in some red states, this wouldn't matter. But in Georgia? North Carlolina? Arizona? maybe even Texas? I'll even go way out on the limb and throw Utah in, because as hard right as that state is, the Mormons really can't stand the orange bastard. I believe they voted for their own local third party guy in either 2016 or 2020.

I dunno. I don't think she's likeable to get elected on her own. They'd probably leave the ticket as it is, and then Biden gets 25th'ed and we're stuck with Harris.

Hell, even at the time, Nixon tried to argue that nothing he did was illegal.... because he was the President!

He says he funded African American colleges at one point in one of his stream of consciousness rambling type answers.
What he should have said was , he gave then funding for 10 years as opposed to one year at a time under Obama.
Who knew? He tells so many lies that you just assume that none of it is true.
