Clearly the fools who think "Librul Commie DemonRats control the weather to rig elections" would be the ones who also believe that Elvis & the BatBoy are conspiring somewhere on their moon colony. Not the internet news sites who report on the MAGAtt delusions.

Cloud seeding is legitmate science, and has been for some time. I remember discussion of it way back in the late 1970s when there was a very rare drought up here in Cascadia and the agriculture sector was worried about that year's crops being able to make it to harvest. Can't remember if they ended up using it or not, or if the rain just finally showed up on it's own (this being some 45 or so years ago). But if the MAGAtt cult had existed then, no doubt they would have blamed the cloud seeders for the eruption of Mt St. Helens which came a year or two later.

Like everyone else I don't watch those videos but I do remember Trump suggesting that the military nuke a hurricane which did seem like a pretty poor idea.

The human quest to control things outside of our capabilities is on-going and comical in many cases.

Yes, cloud seeding is real and has been attempted with very limited, unpredictable success. We figured out how to add chemicals that would bind to the water vapor in the atmosphere, but we don't the capability to control or influence moisture inflow nor the ability to alter the forces that create the instability in a specific area to induce rain. It's little more effective in cold weather for producing snow than in warm weather.

The human arrogance to think we can alter planetary weather patterns is amazing... plus in most cases it's silly. I expect the extreme climate change fools to be shifting to predicting the next ice-age soon as the Sun moves into its 11 year downward energy output cycle which recently peaked in it's higher output. One hearty volcanic eruption and we'll see global temperatures plunge, polar ice-caps expanding, and huge weather shifts... no matter how much Co2 we pump out.

None of this stuff is within human capabilities to change... check the weather to determine if you need a coat outdoors or an umbrella.
