The conclusions offered from the HSCA were largely based on acoustic evidence that has since been refuted.

As to all the mysterious deaths, why would the plotters kill Lee Bowers, yet allow Clay Shaw to live long enough to face trial, and then let him continue to live 5 years after his acquittal?

If there was government involvement, why would said plotters allow anything of substance to survive in document form?

As to the personal attacks on me, I never claimed to know beyond doubt everything that happened regarding the JFK assassination. Quite the opposite. I also never said that JFK's murder wasn't the result of a conspiracy. What I did say is that there has yet to be a critic who has come forth with evidence of such that is irrefutable.

It's possible JFK's death was the result of a conspiracy very limited in scope, and federal investigators kept information from coming above board to mask their own ineptitude in preventing it. It's also not beyond the realm of possibility that Oswald did it all by himself, and many of the contradictions discovered in the aftermath are the same discrepancies that occur in any given event.

In the end, there hasn't been one person who has claimed to solve the case that has really demonstrated they've done so. A lot of interesting questions have been asked, and a lot of intricate theories have been proposed, but that's about it.
