Well, I am getting in on this rather late, but Warham is pretty much correct in some ways.

I call Bush a chimp, and his "ahem" followers Sheeple, and I rant & rave about stuff (some of which deserves to be ranted and raved about), but despite all that, my political views are something I almost never discuss in real life.

This is an outlet for me, and a great forum to debate.

More often than not, I trash conservative thinking, as it is in many cases either a) hypocritical in nature (Don't do as I do, do as I say) or b) clouded by Fundaligionism, as somehow the Christian Religion winds up getting dragged into politics, when they most definitely should be kept separate.

Aside from that, lively and sometimes heated debate on a forum of this nature is healthy and cathartic.

I mean how many times can you call someone an asshole fuckwad in real life without getting punched out?

The only problem with debate online is that stupid people end up thinking they can act that way in real life, and end up getting the crap beat out of them for telling someone off.

Maybe we all disagree with one another at some point, but how often do you get the chance to spout off like this in real life?

Yeah, I tend to vote on the side of the "Only delete them threads with really bad, bad shit in them" crowd.

Death threats, gay & kiddie porn, and any other stuff that is against the law to post, or just against the RothArmy Rules....those are the things that should be deleted....not posts where someone is voicing their opinion, unpopular though it may be. Certainly if it is someone who has been here for a long time.

Oh, and Trolls. Trolls should always be deleted.
