I agree about the government subsidies, but that is more of a macroeconomic issue. I'm speaking of growing crops IN the lands where they need them. Ya know, THEIR crops, not ours. When I see these well fed "Liberation" types wrecking fields of corn and wheat, it blows my mind and angers me. It angers the starving people so much more.

Well, actually isn't the US the one that has no issue with genetically modified food?

And 'organic farming' (which is often times just bullshit) is a nice cottage industry, allowing some farmers to survive...
