:D I second that emotion! My Michigan license expires this year and I dread the 5 hours I'll have to spend at the Secretary of State's office (our name for the DMV) getting it renewed. It takes even longer to get a new Georgia license (I've heard the horror stories from fellow transplants that moved down here).

I have only one thing to add about the school system -- invented spelling and it's now appearing as accepted in graduate school! Apparently teaching grammar and spelling is discriminatory and shouldn't be taught. And then they wonder why our kids are dumber than the rest of the world's.

When I get my classroom, I am gonna work that word wall like there is no tomorrow. Discriminatory my ass.
