So recently they've claimed they are investing most of those profits in research and exploration into alternative energy sources. Looks to me like they all they did was further line some politician pockets so they could do this. Yeah, let's build a bunch of offshore drilling facilities in the middle of the Gulf of Mexico. Let's pollute the water, and further warm it up, IN THE USUAL PATH OF EVERY GODDAMN HURRICANE THAT REACHES THE SHORES OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.
Which will, of course damage said facilities. Causing gas prices to go up again. And Halliburton to get more construction contracts.
