Actually, the "Trois Pistoles" has a 11-12% alchool content without the heavy sweet taste... (so they say).
It is a dark beer.

It also gets to be more pricy than the averge beers...

My favorite beer is Molson Pilsner....as far as I know it is only available in Sask. and Alberta.

It was once brewed in Saskatchewan...but the brewery closed and it is now made in Alberta.

The flavour changed....and not the good way.

BG, there are hundreds of other ones that you'd like, as Franksters's "blanche de Chambly" f.i., or other great white beers (that women will enjoy more) like the "blanche de Namur", which is the best as far as I know.

But once and for all, THE land of BEER is definitely BELGIUM.
Other countries that are seen as great producers, such as Germany, are all JOKERS in comparison.

I can find lots of Belgian ale around here, but none of it's actually FROM Belgium, except for this fruit flavored stuff, which is interesting in it's own right, but I can't really consider it a beer when it tastes like blueberries.
