I don't think you have a single conservative in this forum who has approved of or defended Rumsfeld's policy on Iraq other than the intitial invasion. His handling of "the peace" has been deplorable and we have said so all along. I think the same goes for alot of Republican lawmakers. We'll leave the inflexible attitudes and opinions for you lost liberals.

BTW - I think Rumsfeld was going to step down, no matter what the results of the election were.
