Sexism, family, personal issues of any kind had no place in the line of questioning. No MATTER who it is.
Doesn't matter if you're right/left/liberal/conservative. Manners should trump them all when dealing with business or political matters. You get a lot more accomplished that way.
Dragging someone's personal issues around or even making a snarky little innuendo for a grin's sake makes one come across as unintelligent, uninformed, and out of solid issues.
