I've heard the audio several times. Vicki McKenna, a radio host on WIBA AM, Madison, Wisconsin was interviewing Franken about his last book and was challenging him on some point. Franken got angry (big surprise) and after making a point said "you dyke." She played the segment several times and talked about it.

The point is that Franken calls someone a dyke, and the media and the left say nothing. Coulter says faggot and, well, you know the rest.
