1. Who planned it?

2. Who employed the people who DID it?

3. What SHOULD have been done about it?

Personally, I would not remain in this country if I believed the US Govt would do this to our own people.

The war in Afghanistan was the appropriate response, but not waged effectively due to the views of that idiot Rumsfeld.

3. What should have been done? Afterward? Exactly what was done, but we had no idea how deeply rooted Bin Laden was with the Pakistani's and Afghani's. ( I do think Clinton knew, as would explain why he turned down the opportunity to have BL when he had the chance)...

Before? Well, it should've been caught had our government agencies not been to arrogant to think that an attack would've ever been so well-organized and actually carried out.

1. Who planned it? Bin Laden has accepted responsibility for the attack. German intel confirmed it as well. For what that's worth.

2. Who employed the people who DID it? al Qaeda.

3. What SHOULD have been done about it? We knew who the attackers were before it happened. Many were being followed and watched. The different agencies never collaborated their piece of the puzzle until the dust had settled. The directors of the CIA and FBI should be tried for treason. I blame them most of all.

more bullshit spread by the democrats, i think anyone who even suggests that our government had anything to do with the deaths of all those poor souls on 9\11 should be imprisoned.

as far as what should have been done about it, i would have liked to see the us military stay out of iraq and chase binladen into pakistan and if need be kick the shit out of the pakistani forces if they resisted.

bush said anyone aiding terrorists is an enemy, and will be attacked if need be. he didnt stick to his guns on that point, regretfully.

as much as i hate to say it, iraq is a clusterfuck. we shouldnt be asn occupying force anywhere, we should strike them when we find them and leave.

1.Osama bin Laden and al-Qaeda, of course. I think that as far as stateside terrorism, nothing even approaching 9/11 will happen again. Osama and Co. shot their whole stateside wad wityh 9/11, regardless of what fear Bush and the GOP try to pound into the country's collective mentality before any election. Unfortunately, our "president" had a hard-on for Saddam Hussein and used the nation's fear and paranoia to go after him with no plan whatsoever beyond the fall of Hussein. It's funny that after you accuse the Democrats of starting this "theory" (WTF?) that you easily count off a few of the ways your "president" is a total fuck-up.
