Yeah, that's a valid point. It's exactly what they did to Jimmy Carter, who had to clean up the mess of BOTH Watergate and Vietnam, but couldn't stop the economic downfall caused by both.

If that's Al's reason for opting out, I can't blame him, but he's best equipped to fix those problems. Hillary sure as fuck isn't. Obama gives a great speech, but he's got so little experience. Edwards.... seems to be on the right page with economic justice and saving the middle class. Richardson.......on paper, highly qualified. in person, most have never heard of him, and a lot of those who do aren't crazy about him (past associations with the DLC and FAUX Noise)

This is very bad news for America.

First off hypocrite, dont call me boy. The head on my dick is smarter than you. Dont get upset because you got outwitted by someone, for you im sure it happens everyday. And for someone who can only paste op-eds and call people liberal to criticize anyone about debate skills is like teaching a blind man how to read.

Hillary wants the govt. to have all the power and individuals don't matter. She scares me. What it takes to get elected she is willing to say or do but she will bring a hidden agenda. I'm sick of that shit.

What made the United States great was we had rich and powerful people serve in public office who valued the individual over increasing their own profit and powerbase.

We had George Washington who refused to be monarch even when the American people wanted him to be. Instead he reluctantly became the first president because nobody else was universally respected enough for the job.

We had Teddy Roosevelt who stood up to monopolies and broke them up to encourage competition and keep prices down.

Now it seems all our politicians are crooks or soon become one after a short stint in Washington DC. There is no integrity anymore. The Bush Administration was all about abusing the office so a limited few could make money.

I really don't like Hillary, although I did vote for her as Senator. And, she's done a pretty decent job for New York state. I quite certain it's better than the alternatives would have done. She hasn't delivered on many of idyllic campaign promises. But what politician has recently?

But I think you're being extremely alarmist. Of course she's willing to do whatever it takes to get elected, and she's probably more ruthless than most, but there's no infamous 'hidden' Clinton agenda. That smacks of tin-foil beanie partisan bullshit on par with Ford's 9/11 crap...

Vote on the issues, and not bullshit extremist partisan propaganda. I soon will donate to Barrack, and I'm hoping he takes the nod, experience or no, I could give a fuck! Isn't that the romantic notion of the "Mr. Smith Goes to Washington" outsider type what we're supposed to want?

"Mr. Smith Goes to Washington" was made in a simpler time when you didn't have a corporate whore media programming a fear mentality into an entire nation for over a decade.

The mediawhores have a double target with Obama. His inexperience is obvious. They'll claim that "in this dangerous time, how can we trust an inexperienced candidate, blah blah blah..."

And sickeningly enough, the media also still pushes fear of "da black man" whether they want to admit it or not. And as sad as this is to admit in the fucking 21st century, there are people out there who will buy into that shit.

So far, this campaign SUCKS. We know goddamn well that Senators don't get elected President, yet we're being told that the "only" choices are two current senators and an ex senator, who, between the three of them have only a combined 16 years of experience in the Senate.

It's looking like the DLC is throwing the game already. Not like that surprises me, I'm just sickened that people are buying this crap again.

Unless Gore or Dean gets into this thing, my "lesser of two evils" candidate would probably be Richardson. Yeah, there's things I don't like about the guy, but at least governors can win elections. And he's got the resume to qualify.

God help this country if we don't do better with the 2008 election.

Yeah but Ford, you make some great points, but who's going to run against him. (((*snicker*)))

The Republican ticket is colorful. The Baptists and Born Agains can't stand the Mormons and non of those religiouse wackos will vote for Rudy with his low morals. That leaves a lazy actor and an unpopular dude who spent time in the Hanoi Hilton.

One thing for sure. George W.Bush's Iraqi invasion has been a tottal dissaster and we were obviousely lied to about weapons of mass destruction. That being said, all these Republican cronies support getting more Americans killed in Iraq for nothing and trying to improve a situation that has no sollution we can provide. I say blame it all on the Bush Administration and get the hell out of there. If we don't we will be doing it years latter with thousands more dead.
