Years later and still no WMD found. You can choose to interpret that as 'they must be hidden somewhere.' But at this point you are just making excuses for your beloved Führer and his fucked up occupation.

So many regurgitations of Hannity's conspiracy theories of weapons buried or moved, yet no one has led us to the mother load. Not even the ones we are torturing for that very information!

Experts? Yes. The UN weapons inspectors. Only the former Head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (1981-1997), Hans Blix. This man spent years doing this very thing.
Thank you for your somewhat civilized responce.
For the record I do not support Bush .
I am all for an immediate withdrawel of our troops.
The point that I keep trying to get across is I
don't beleive the congress would have allowed
Bush to send any troops over to Iraq if Sadaam had fully complied
    with the UN resolutions .
Bush would have had to try some other angle.
At least some of the blame belongs to Sadaam , if he had nothing to hide ,why did he not just let the inspecters do their job.

I am not an expert on the manufacture of WMDs so I will not try to dispute your assumption that a large facility would be needed for their production .
But that does not leave out the possibility others could have supplied these weapons and removed them later.
Some think we supplied Iraq with WMDs.
I don't know if this is fact or speculation.
      It could have been Russia.
Sadaam was accused of using chemical weapons on his own people.
Did he just use up his supply ?

        Cadaverdog,

I addressed some of your questions in this thread: Why do us Liberals hate Bush's Quagmire In Iraq? I am looking forward to your comments.

If we had found them and arrested Sadaam we still might be in the same boat we are in.
Bush would have still insisted on installing his puppet government
and still used the fighting terrorists excuse to stay .
It is obvious to me Bush had his own agenda from the start and
stupid ass Sadaam supplied the fucker with an excuse.
i agree on your second point. without question.

but personally, i don't really care if saddam had WMD or not. even if he did, it doesn't inherently mean that iraq, which had not threatened the U.S. prior to that, was such a danger that we had to preemptively attack them.

whatever saddam actually had (and personally, i think it was the ability to produce WMD, not the weapons, themselves) he was using them to prop up iraq's power in the region. he was basically telling iran and saudi and israel not to attack iraq, because iraq (maybe) had the weapons to cause massive damage.

in the end, kinda moot now, since we're there regardless. but hopefully at least something for us to consider when we formulate future foreign policy.
