So right now, you've got Hillary or Giuliani. They really aren't all that different, when you listen to what they say. Hillary will push her healthcare plan, but it won't pass. They'll both stay in Iraq indefinately. They'll both do nothing substancial about illegal immigration. On and on.

Yes but conversely, a lot of people hate Hillery irrationally, because of their perception of her and without ever considering her positions on issues...

She's actually far more critical of free trade that Bill was, was every much involved in legislation trying to force Bush to begin the inevitable withdrawl from Iraq - despite her vagueness the issue, and she's been a solid Senator for NY. She might most closely represent my moderate, establishment progressive views..

The funny thing is that she takes it here from the right, who've almost a conspiratorial zealousness towards here, and from the left - because she's not liberal enough. Well, all Democrats (and now Republicans thank God!) have to moderate their views if they've any hope of victory...
