So called "Super Tuesday" failed to produce the results it was designed to do - a forced Hillary coronation.

It's a tie, folks. More or less. Obama won more states, but I believe the delegate count is damn near even. Wonder if that means the media whores will be swarming Washington state, since we're the next battleground. Not even a contest here.... nobody I know wants Hillary, so that should be an easy win for Obama on Saturday.

And while I didn't pay as much attention to the 'Puke side of things, I don't think it was all that definitive either. I know Huckster did better than expected. And McCain won a lot of states, but as Joe "Dead Intern" Scarborough pointed out, the states McCain won tonight are the same ones he'll lose in November.

Last night was the first time I've listened to an Obama speech, and he said the one thing I've been listening for. Repealing the tax credit for offshoring. We've picked up some in the last few months and they are an absolute nightmare to work with. Idiotic fucks that can't communicate and get away with murder because of the barriers.

India is not a 3rd world nation and it's time to quit sending them our jobs. We haven't lost any, but are replacing with attrition if people leave until we get down to a certain point. I absolutely hate working with them knowing a neighbor could be earning that money.

I never said it was a DNC conspiracy. Howard Dean doesn't want another BushClinton presidency any more than I do.

The conspiracy was on the part of the DLC which has nothing to do with the DNC, and is not, in fact, even a part of the Democratic Party, although they think they own it. Let's just say they are to the Democrats what Sammy was to Van Halen.

That's what the Michigan & Florida mess was all about. Their DLC dominated state parties scheduled early primaries without authorization. Dean & the DNC smacked them down and told them if they held the early primaries, there would be no delegates. The rest of the candidates removed their names from the ballots. Hillary refused to do so, and then claimed "victory" in a race where nobody else was running. And now she wants to claim the delegates because the coronation plan isn't working.

Nader wasn't entirely wrong in 2000. It's not the Democratic and Republican parties that don't have a nickel's worth of a difference between the two of them, but it's definitely true of Bush & Clinton.

McCain is fucking brain dead. Here's a guy who admits he doesn't care about the US economy, and vows to stay in Iraq for 100 years if necessary.

I used to respect John McCain a great deal. He once was a Republican senator who wasn't afraid to stand up to his party when they were doing some stupid shit (as they did through most of the 1990's.)

And while I would have never voted for McCain in the general election, I did cross over and vote for him in the 2000 Repuke primary, because any vote against the Chimp is a good vote. He should have had their nomination locked up in 2000, and there's no doubt he does now.


As for Obama, he wasn't my first, second, or even third choice this time around (Gore, Kucinich, Edwards, in that order) but he's now my only choice, by default. I will not vote for Hillary Clinton. Not tomorrow. Not in November (should she be nominated) not ever.

Obama isn't as Liberal of a candidate as I would like, but he's bringing a lot of people into this process, and turnout at polling places is often double what it was in 2004. Just this afternoon, he got 18,000 people in Key Arena to see him, and another 3,000 or so turned away outside, though Obama stopped and talked to some of them before going into the Arena. With those total numbers, his crowd was about 4 times larger than Hillary's was last night. And this was a work day. A weekend rally probably would have filled Safeco Field.

I don't feel as enthusiastic about an Obama presidency as I would a Gore presidency, but I'm looking forward to it all the same.

28 years of Bush-Clinton is more than enough.
