Um yeah, a 55 hundred dollar hooker. If he had the time to go behind his family's back and spend that kind of money on a whore, then what makes you think for a minute that he wouldn't abuse his power in office with some other illegal shenanagans. I do think the Republicans deserve a little bit more scrutiny, however, since they have made "family values" one of the primary tenets of their party politics over the last couple decades. I agree. But that being said, and as somebody that definitely would have voted for Spitzer for governor, and did vote for him as the attorney general, he betrayed everything he supposedly stood for as the muckraking, corruption fighting Eliot "Ness" Spitzer...Comment

1. Hypocrisy.
2. Hiring an ugly prostitute.

Not condoning his behavior, but this fiasco has taken a nasty shot at the electoral process. The citizens of New York voted Spitzer in and now with an investigation and a resignation, New Yorkers are left with a Governor installed by the Government and not by the people.Comment
