i agree with you; the quote was taken out of context.

hearing the whole bit, it was clear that rush was saying that he did not support obama's policies and therefore, in those policies, he hoped obama failed.

now, rush phrased it in a more harsh way, for a reason. rush isn't a moron; he knew that the more controversial he sounds, the more his ratings increase.

it sure as hell doesn't mean that rush is right. but he's getting exactly what he wanted, so who knows?...

Yep, I didn't mean turn a blind eye at all. It's the act that ... well you know.

        Which "far left" polices specifically?

And Dumbya wouldn't have ever tried to ban abortion. The Roe vs. Wade argument is the GOP's friend in the way that Israel is the friend of many Arab states, as well as Iran, because they have something that divides people and a panacea they can blame all their problems on...

            Yes, we did.

But instead he invaded a country that posed no threat, and had no inolvement in 9/11, shredded The Constitution, made War Proiteers out of his cronies, spied on us without warrants, tortured and rendered in our name, and had CIA Operatives outed.

He should be brought up on war crimes.

But we still wanted him to take the country in the right direction once the SURPREME COURT ANNOINTED HIM in 2000

Well.... I did want him to not fail any worse than his father did. Unfortunately he well exceeded my expectations.

                No problem whatsoever?

One thing about your post like these I notice, is you keep recycling misstated facts and then tag-team insults with FORD that have no basis whatsoever, such as Rush bagging young Asian kids, and then pointing your finger with "refute, refute" as I pointed out on the other board.

What's all that about? I mean, why do you say stupid shit like "Iraq was fine" when as part of the UN Forces, we first kicked them out of the Kuwait invasion, we were getting our planes shot at and, after the treaty we were getting hit with hot radar daily, and Saddam kept sending sorties outside the safezone parallels causing us to shoot them down every other month so he could cry foul or cheer Victory over Saytan Boosh depending on his mood.. do you not recall, or are you 13 years old and if so look it up before you post.

                    STFU GARfield.

You use "quotes" when I never said those things.

You are the one who needs to look shit up before you post, and considering YOU POST FROM THE FUCKING LIBRARY COMPUTERS you have NO excuse other than apathy and laziness not to do so.

You're a fucking moron. Feel free to quote that

                        Carville Wanted Bush to Fail
The press never reported that Democratic strategist James Carville said he wanted President Bush to fail before the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. But a feeding frenzy ensued when radio host Rush Limbaugh recently said he wanted President Obama to fail.

                        Wednesday, March 11, 2009

On the morning of Sept. 11, 2001, just minutes before learning of the terrorist attacks on America, Democratic strategist James Carville was hoping for President Bush to fail, telling a group of Washington reporters: "I certainly hope he doesn't succeed."

Carville was joined by Democratic pollster Stanley Greenberg, who seemed encouraged by a survey he had just completed that revealed public misgivings about the newly minted president.

"We rush into these focus groups with these doubts that people have about him, and I'm wanting them to turn against him," Greenberg admitted.

The pollster added with a chuckle of disbelief: "They don't want him to fail. I mean, they think it matters if the president of the United States fails."

2006 Poll: 51% Of Democrats Wanted Bush To Fail

A recent Fox News poll gets at the disturbing truth: A majority of Democrats say they want to see the president fail. Such deep hatred is bad news for the country at a time when America needs to bridge the partisan divide. It’s also bad news for the Democrats, who risk repeating the Republicans’ mistakes of a decade ago, driving away the centrists they need to regain power or going too far if they do manage to win.

Fox’s question was revealing: “Regardless of how you voted in the presidential election, would you say you want President Bush to succeed or not?” Democrats said “not,” 51 percent to 40 percent - where the public at large wanted success by almost two to one.

Wow, talk of feeling wounded and sorry for one's self and then lashing out by grasping at the slimmest of straws possible.

More tit-for-tat nonsense. This is what qualifies as journalism, let alone is used to further some utterly nebulous point? Why not simply broadcast the following image in place of reasoned thought for rebuttal to an issue?

I wouldn't get all worked up over it. This county alone hasn't seen decent journalism in the past 20 years. When douchebags like Limbaugh who, as far as I know, doesn't even possess a degree in political science becomes more or less the sole information source the the entire GOP you know the country is fucked.

Journalism alone is boring. That's why America's so-called "news sources" dressed it up like a $2 French whore at a Vegas banker convention. From hacks like O'Reilly to that horsefaced Ethridge-worshiping Rachael Maddow our news is spoon fed with opinion intermingled with (distorted) fact. As for Maddow, what I love to ask her is what's so god damn funny about an mentally disturbed gunman in Alabama offing of few of his innocent community townsfolk? Even when she speaks of horrors happening in Darfur to the Obama clan getting a puppy she always has that condescending smile/smirk on her face. Yeah, that's it Maddow, tune your zygomatic muscle cheeks on and read the teleprompter without a clue as to what you're reading. Oh, and don't forget to bob your head up and down like deep-throating porn star when interviewing a head of state. Bitch.

Right, where was I? Ah yes, Limbaugh. Look, who cares what he says? Of course he wants Obama to fail as long as his blind rhetoric brings him ratings. That's more or less what right-wing talk radio/TV is all about. Who needs facts and/or research when all you have to do is see what the wet liberals are saying or doing and simply disagree with their ideology. Sometimes, you have double-mouthed morons such as Micheal Savage who play both sides of the fence while dressing like a Cuban pimp and yet prides himself for eating at "upscale establishments" like the Olive Garden.

Savage (whose real last name is Weiner) plays aim at his targets by not being happy with his own political interest by calling McCain a "failure for the GOP' while referring to Obama as a "modern socialist metaphor" er..whatever in the hell that means. In attacking both parties Savage somehow believes he's speaking for the entire US populace. He's another who love to see Obama fail but then again, would be saying the same shit about McCain if he was in Office.

So you see, it doesn't matter what these fools say or believe. Today's journalism isn't about information anymore as it is getting under people's skin and pissing them off by criticizing the other one's beliefs. Both the left and the right are guilty of this. And what's sad, is that this sort of mindset is here to stay.
