Kristy would be able to word this better, but I am going to attempt to put into words a notion I speculated after hearing Rush's statement.

Does Rush have the ethics not to take inducement? Does Rush have the fortitude to not be guided mistakenly or willingly by a saboteur covert operation? Would Rush concealed assets? Would Rush leave the USA problematic, if he had another setup elsewhere?


Conspiracy theories are not my thing, nevertheless could Rush fall victim to social engineering?

Bankers suck

The real assholes to target are the bankers who screwed us. Let's throw them in jail. Put the Federal Reserve under the control of the US Govt. Take over the five largest banks because they are bankrupt and cancel all the derivative debt which was a ponzi scheme to begin with. Then we give 0% interest loans to get our industry moving again and create jobs.

The current bailout is just welfare for the rich. None of that money is going to go to the people but to offshore banks and corrupt bankers.

What gets me and what I'll never understand is how so many in the GOP took Rush seriously even while knowing he was higher than kite on a prescription pharmaceutical narcotic. Oxycontin (or cotin) is the new household heroin for today's America college generation and unhappy MILF's. After all, it has more sugar than Valium - and Americans love sugar.

I once dated a guy who was lying pill head. Like Rush, he believed every word he spoke was truth no matter how glossy-eyed or incoherent. And just like the poor, uneducated or mentally ill in this country the GOP chose to ignore Rush's addiction calling it an aberration in his judgment. Really? So we have inner city youth going to jail for up to two years for being caught with slightly less than an ounce while America's bloated mouthpiece popped his euphoria candy (which is far more dangerous) like it came from a Pez dispenser and all is forgiven as long he slammed "liberals"?

I'm starting to believe the rumors are true: we do live in strange, strange times.

The world banking system is imploding and the assholes who screwed us all are getting rewarded with bailout money and all people care about is Rush Limbaugh? Rohm Imanuel wants people to be occupied with Rush hate instead of wondering why Obama is breaking all his campaign promises. He is talking about expanding the war on terror into Pakistahn. He's sent more troops. He has spend more money that the whole Iraq campaign and Katrina emergency combined before he was even in office for two months. What a fucking joke. Ear tag reform? He signed them into law yesterday behind closed doors. Change? Yeah. More war. More troops. More spending.
