As for CNBC, I've often wondered where their politics lie Since all our (US) cable "news" networks lean to one party or another. Granted, I watch little CNBC simply because I don't appreciated being shouted at when it comes to receiving financial news but since they can't properly report what else is there left for them do but join the ever-increasing anti-Obama criticism wagon?

My guess is that their politics lie with their wallets. Naturally, most shows covering Wall Street tend to lean toward the Republican side…They are perceived as being more business friendly.

The market is off 30% in the past 2 months and 20% since Inauguration Day. Despite that fact, Obama’s favorable numbers are stellar….65% or so. Hardly an ever-increasing anti-Obama criticism wagon, not even close.

I agree that it IS all (well mostly) corporatist media--yes. Not all one sided though. I mean--Jeffery Immelt (CEO GE) is hardly a right wing zealot.

In February, Immelt was appointed as a member to the President's Economic Recovery Advisory Board.

Good to see Stewart have a go like that. My one criticism is he tends to be too soft on guests.
