What's with none of these cap-n-trade tax bastards avoiding their Environmental Responsibility of calculating all those newly erupting Ring of Fire volcanoes coming up in the Pacific?
If you're gonna say getting rid of CO2 NO and CO1 emissions is gonna save the world, shouldn't the earth quit spewing it before it kills us?
Shouldn't someone calculate the square ton of volcanic emissions and how that just about offsets every fucking effort Man can make to stop carbon in the air?
If I buy a fucking volcanic island with 10 flowing eruptions on them, and cap 'em with concrete then pipe the emissions a mile back into the earth, ain't I then the new Crystal New Age Hippie Deity of the Month?

Because the motives are not genuine. Everybody wants a clean environment, even the mean and nasty conservatives. The biggest obstacle here is political. The enthused would have the US sign a treaty that would tie its hands economically while countries like China and India would not have to comply. Environmentalism as it exists now, would devastate the US economy while enriching those who chose not to comply. There are those out there that would love that to happen....some are US citizens living right here among us. They are socialists....they are not "go to guys"...they coast through life and hate our society because they cannot excel here with their mindset. They will never outwork anyone and they never outwit anyone. As any good socialist they wish to level the playing field by toppling the elite instead of rising up the lower class. Not unusually there is a terrible fucking flaw in your argument. Someone has of course done the calculations. In fact lots of people have. Strangely enough the worlds scientists don't sit about doing nothing waiting for you to come up with ideas.
Secondly the answer is that each year volcanoes emit 200 million tons of CO2 which sounds a lot. It used to be a lot more than humans do. Unfortunately humans are now up to 27 billion metric tons, the US accounts for over 6 billion alone.
So to answer your question people create over 100 times more greenhouse gasses and the US over 20 times more than all the volcanoes in the world.
