Yeah, my grandparents were in the cattle business and my grandmother made me a sandwich and told me to go to the kitchen and look. I found a partially sliced cow tounge and promptly disposed of the sandwich...

A 40 yard kick for goal in Aussie Rules is considered a short kick
Theres no penalties for reverse passing, the ground length is
like 150 metres, I have seen guys run full speed 100 metres
and slam into a guy running the same speed from the opposite
direction... Last weekend (in the game we watched) in one
collision, the dude busted several ribs which punctured his lungs
and he ran off the ground (unescorted) spewing blood....
The worst I saw was a guy in the 70's go for a high catch,
break his back, and never walked again...

There is or was an Oz football player in the NFL? As a kicker...San Diego I think....he made maybe 2 tackles in his career and they were all from the neck up...and he was wearing pads! Send us some more, and let's see how they do!
NFL is a much faster sport...just not on the clock. Those guys can fly. Without the helmets and shit, they would most all be dead by halftime. I doubt any Oz footballers could catch what the Mannings throw! And if they could, what's keeping them from coming up and making a gazillion dollars playing in pads? Easy money, right?

For the record, I am a huge fan of the mighty volunteers and the Dallas
Cowboys...
But for the love of god, watchin those games not recorded (without the
aid of a fast forward) is brutal... You gotta admit..
I've had whole family moments inbetween stoppages of NFL....
