I think he's in the process of balancing out. The next three years will give us a better outlook...I mean, shit, the guy's what, 7 months into it? Lets see what he actually gets done and how it impacts the country at large before we make judgment calls about where he's going to level out at...

To be honest. I think the problems are too huge for any president to tackle. I think we set ourselves up over the years for a depression. We just flat out over spent. What has me worried is the central bank system world wide is failing. If the US Dollar hyperinflates it will take the Euro and Yen with it since they are based on nothing as well. Europe and China are doing huge stimulus plans as well but China's exports are way down; even though they have the cash reserves we don't but they still have a lot of money tied up in US loans that we may default on.

The financial powers that be may start some shit as a distraction out of desperation.

I think we are heading for bank runs and bank holidays and more job losses. A horrible time to raise more taxes. That's adding fuel to the fire. The politicians are out of touch. The bailout has just bought a few more months time and rewarded the bankers for their bad behavior.
