    Gypsies

How do you tell a Gypsy from any other brown haired brown eyed "white" person?
I am not from Europe, so I would not know.
I looked it up and they just looked like dark white people.
Outside of their choice to shun education, and choosing criminal paths( this I know from American here-say)
And the child marriages between 2 children. Which is better than child marriages between a child and elder. And I have no issue with marrying children to each other , other than they do not get say in who they marry. That is wrong.

But how do you know a gypsy other than poor life choices?
And if they corrected thier law-breaking like the FLDS, what's the big deal?

To put it simply, we need to worry a lot less about how to communicate our actions and much more about what our actions communicate.

You can sometimes make an estimate based on names. Back when I worked in hotels, I immediately became suspicious if I had large groups checked in under two first names...20 or 30 people with names like "Mike Steve", "John Steve", "Mary Steve", "Burt Steve", "Ray Steve", etc etc. Gypsies sometimes travel in large packs under two first names like that.

In fact, I use the last name "Steve" because I showed up one night and had a clan under the name of ____ Steve checked in; we were robbed blind of just about everything in each room they took.

On the plus side, one of the younger girls informed me that they were, in fact, gypsies and that they were going to grab whatever they could get, so I'll give them points for honesty.

They did every single thing they could to keep me away from the desk all night, though...
    Twistin' by the pool.

They do have various tactics they use to distract those in authority to prevent them from seeing what is happening.

My roommate literally had a run-in with some of them back in the 90s in Wichita. There were several "palm reading" joints around town, and there was one only about 6 blocks from my house.

One day my roomie shows up at the door on foot, asking me to drive him to a location a few blocks away to help him with his vehicle. Seems a couple of gypsies from the palm reader's place had run a stop sign and plowed into my roomie's car.

So we go there and there is a cop car with the two gypsies in the back seat. Another cop car and a car-load of gypsies arrived just as I did. Immediately the gypsies swarmed around the cop who was standing by his car, peppering him with questions, and in general trying to create as much confusion as possible.

Funny thing was, just a week earlier I had seen a documentary on them, showing surveillance cam footage of some gypsies who had gone into a convenience store to steal some stuff. The manager saw one of them stealing some stuff, and when he tried to apprehend him, 5 others used the same exact tactic, blocking his way so he could not get close to the perp, and trying to create confusion so the thief could get away safely.

It is no wonder they are considered scum.

Just the other day, Madonna was doing a concert in Bucharest and spoke out defending gypsies, and got booed big time (and rightly so):

The females love to wear jeans-dresses and skirt-dresses that go right down to their ankles, here in Los Angeles.

Their behaviour is awful, they don't bathe or use perfume or deodorant, eat like swine at the table, throw food and occasionally swing from the low tree branch by their prehensile tails before climbing higher up to slumber.

Madonna's statement is what brought it to mind.

And I got to thinking, I know a person that speaks of his rich "gypsy" heritage, but I would not know looking at him that he was anything more than a dark white person. So, I went a googling. I know what is considered "gypsy" here in GA. They actually have some compounds a county or two over, but looking at them there is no telling them from one white person or another. They aren't even that dark in hair, skin and eyes. But what they are known for is shoddy construction, happenstance work and the child marriages.

Being from New Orleans, I have known a lot of "visionist", and not all are bullshit artist, per say. Some really practice mediation and "remote viewing" and other such possible sciences. And they are like it may or may not be true, there's not much study or known science mythology to test without influencing the subject.

And am am not automatically against separatist or exclusioners. I am a bit of one myself. I am not so fond of stranger or "outsiders" They scare me for their unknown attributes.

I also think that borders have inhibited the natural migration patterns of humans. After all that is how the world was repopulated or populated by all beings including humans.

And I don't think one group of people can hold a sound expression. I don't think one group of people hold a concept of what feels.

There are people that choose to exploit a culture or concept for negativity. But that is a trait in every culture or conceptualized association.

Some people are just unethical and choose to be. There needs to be words for such people. Gypsy might not be one, but it might be just like the n word.

It is a shame that such corruption has taken over a culture. I wish it was "proofed" that "gypsies" did embrace educating their youth, non-corrupt business, and in general celebrate what is good and great about the nomadic lifestyle that is so quickly falling to the wayside in today's modern world. But, the choice to attempt to defend the inappropriate parts of the culture, shines a negative and poor lighting on so many of the other nomadic human beings across the planet.

Gypsies, as a culture and people, should help uplift the good and noble aspects of a nomadic culture and help reject corruption in all aspects of life.
