On the topic... current administration seems to be very typical for a Democratic president. Yes there's wars going on, but most of the talk centers around "domestic" issues and the business of running the country internally.

It's almost a 180 degree opposite with a Republican adminsitration... yes they're running the country internally and dealing with domestic issues, but most of the public talk centers on the wars.

Honestly... I don't see a whole lot of difference in the actions being taken currently. Just a difference in what's making the front page news in how it's presented to the public.

If you do some digging into the current status of the Iraq & Afganistan offenses... You'll find there's been very little change in how the White House is approaching both from the Bush to now Obama adminsitrations. In fact nothing much has changed other than the positioning of DoD press conferences and focus of the White House press secretaries' office daily briefings.

So yes, I would say Obama is acting like a president with two wars going on. Only difference is how it's being presented to the public... throw out the "War on Terror" name and position discussion slightly behind the domestic agenda. Seriously nothing much has changed other than the talk of the day...

The US system was designed to not allow anyone to be radical or do anything much at all.

If I was American watching Democrats lining up to do what their insurance company owners tell them to do would have disgusted me and finished my interest in domestic politics forever.

Exactly Sesh... the balance of power among the exective branches ensure nothing much changes quickly except for who and where the fertilizer (bullshit) is getting spread about.

Still a pretty ingenious vision those radicals back in the 1700's had...

It was great for the time but now you're stuck with it.

Our historical legacy from that time means we have to throw some German cunt and her family $50 million a year which isn't a lot to pay compared to having your hands tied forever by an 18th century constitution.

To put it simply, we need to worry a lot less about how to communicate our actions and much more about what our actions communicate.

Just out of curiosity, what is happening to these Yoda posts? Are they being moved somewhere, or deleted?

I've pretty much concluded the Democrat and Republican parties are nothing more than different marketing channels for the same financial, corporate and military contractor bullshit. The voting population is basically split into two camps and so you have to back two opposing choices. The Republicans might win or the Democrats might win but like you said, look past the rehtoric and media hype and it's the same damn thing.

Obama is looking like a lame duck already though. The economy is eating his celebrity hype and now people want a real leaders, not more of the same with a different face.

I'd just like to know why those posts are deleted, while the identically moronic Hey-Seuss posts are left alone.

Is it because we have a soft spot for the retarded?

His bullshit aliases don't threadjack and start pissing matches every time...

BTW, I've noticed that you hate Standin's posts so much (I assume that's who you're referring too) that you comment to everyone of them, usually with a middle-finger smiley...

And that only proves my point. People kindly ignore Ford's stupid shit, like the poor retard in the room drooling on himself. While, if it's Gar, people go off on him and delete his shit. Same exact behavior, though. Posting stupid shit under an alias.
