Read this - I bet you fucking missed it!

Because of the shitty press we have.

    I only just noticed it.

Reported in fucking News International but missed because of the time of year.

The only surprising thing is that there aren't more suicide bombers...

Western troops accused of executing 10 Afghan civilians, including children - Times Online

Western troops accused of executing 10 Afghan civilians, including children

American-led troops were accused yesterday of dragging innocent children from their beds and shooting them during a night raid that left ten people dead.

Afghan government investigators said that eight schoolchildren were killed, all but one of them from the same family. Locals said that some victims were handcuffed before being killed.

Western military sources said that the dead were all part of an Afghan terrorist cell responsible for manufacturing improvised explosive devices (IEDs), which have claimed the lives of countless soldiers and civilians.

“This was a joint operation that was conducted against an IED cell that Afghan and US officials had been developing information against for some time,” said a senior Nato insider. But he admitted that “the facts about what actually went down are in dispute”.

The allegations of civilian casualties led to protests in Kabul and Jalalabad, with children as young as 10 chanting “Death to America” and demanding that foreign forces should leave Afghanistan at once.

President Karzai sent a team of investigators to Narang district, in eastern Kunar province, after reports of a massacre first surfaced on Monday.

“The delegation concluded that a unit of international forces descended from a plane Sunday night into Ghazi Khan village in Narang district of the eastern province of Kunar and took ten people from three homes, eight of them school students in grades six, nine and ten, one of them a guest, the rest from the same family, and shot them dead,” a statement on President Karzai’s website said.

Assadullah Wafa, who led the investigation, said that US soldiers flew to Kunar from Kabul, suggesting that they were part of a special forces unit.

“At around 1 am, three nights ago, some American troops with helicopters left Kabul and landed around 2km away from the village,” he told The Times. “The troops walked from the helicopters to the houses and, according to my investigation, they gathered all the students from two rooms, into one room, and opened fire.” Mr Wafa, a former governor of Helmand province, met President Karzai to discuss his findings yesterday. “I spoke to the local headmaster,” he said. “It’s impossible they were al-Qaeda. They were children, they were civilians, they were innocent. I condemn this attack.”

In a telephone interview last night, the headmaster said that the victims were asleep in three rooms when the troops arrived. “Seven students were in one room,” said Rahman Jan Ehsas. “A student and one guest were in another room, a guest room, and a farmer was asleep with his wife in a third building.

“First the foreign troops entered the guest room and shot two of them. Then they entered another room and handcuffed the seven students. Then they killed them. Abdul Khaliq [the farmer] heard shooting and came outside. When they saw him they shot him as well. He was outside. That’s why his wife wasn’t killed.”

A local elder, Jan Mohammed, said that three boys were killed in one room and five were handcuffed before they were shot. “I saw their school books covered in blood,” he said.

The investigation found that eight of the victims were aged from 11 to 17. The guest was a shepherd boy, 12, called Samar Gul, the headmaster said. He said that six of the students were at high school and two were at primary school. He said that all the students were his nephews. In Jalalabad, protesters set alight a US flag and an effigy of President Obama after chanting “Death to Obama” and “Death to foreign forces”. In Kabul, protesters held up banners showing photographs of dead children alongside placards demanding “Foreign troops leave Afghanistan” and “Stop killing us”.

Hekmatullah, 10, a protester, said: “We’re sick of Americans bombing us.” Samiullah Miakhel, 60, a protester. said: “The Americans are just all the time killing civilians.”

Nato’s International Security Assistance Force said that there was “no direct evidence to substantiate” Mr Wafa’s claims that unarmed civilians were harmed in what it described as a “joint coalition and Afghan security force” operation.

Wouldn't there be some children's bodies with bullet holes in them? Or is he also accusing the troops of eating them after they shot them?

The US military has been hijacked. Before WWII we had a Defense Department and actually wanted to stay out of the war and we caught flack for that. Then after Pearl Harbor we had to build weapons and our economy then was manufacturing and not war.

After World War II we actually had a military industry where various private enterprizes made weapons and sold them to the government. The cold war fed this well and the money made was in tern used to buy politicians to get the contracts. In the 1960's McNamara had a study done on what peace would mean and it was determined that the loss of the war industry would be devistating to the US economy and so it was deemed to keep various wars going. After the Soviet Union fell the war industry needed something else.

I think the strategy is to keep war going by actually inflaming the muslims. We want that and then by controlling the middle east oil we can refuse to sell oil to those countries that threaten to dump the US Dollar. So we can print dollars and trade them for finished goods from other countries and they get stuck with worthless paper or computer code now. So basically, we have gotten cars, TV's, clothes, computers, shoes in exchange for worthless shit we print or the private central bank issues. Talk about a grand ponzi scheme and it need middle east war to keep going.

As far as US Troops go 68% of our fighting force are mercinaries. Private companies are replacing the US military and if we piss off more people by killing their kids and loved ones, it keeps the war going. If a terrorist kills a few thousand Americans those in power don't give a shit, they want to reduce the population anyways and unless it a major power like China or Russia, war means little and we control the Persian Gulf so we can blackmail China. At least for the moment.

It's madness I know but that is what you get when weapons manufactures and banks take over your government.

We in a way are becoming like Nazi Germany. The private mercenaries are like the SS and the US Military is like the Wheremacht. The Wheremacht typically was less brutal than the SS. I know they treated their prisoners better. I would rather be captured by Rommel than some SS nutjob.

Also many left the military because they couldn't swear allegiance to Bush. Some good guys stayed because they felt by doing so they could keep the military from completely going downhill. So right now the US kind of has a stealth battle going on inside it's own government. You might see refusal to follow orders and an uprising against those who issue the orders because people feel they are damaging the country. Look at how Obama is falling in the eyes of the public. So many who voted for him feel betrayed and they are very, very, very pissed and this is changing the dynamic.

We are tired of this war bullshit just as the rest of the world is. I think the country will split much like it did during the Vietnam era. by 2012 we will be in the thick of the economic depression and it won't be business as usual.

I often maintain if the Soviet Union can go broke and fall, the US can as well. What the result of that will be I'm not sure but it's going to be a different world. I think all this war will break us; especially, if the other countries make oil obsolete and we lose our bargaining chip.

Another thing I think about is how sustainable all this fiat currency swishing around the world is. The US Dollar, The Yen, The British Pound Sterling, the Chinese RMB, The Euro. It's all the same, computer code and paper produced from nothing backing it. Does it matter which fails first? If the British Pound goes it pulls the US Dollar down with it and vice versa. If the Yen fails or the Euro fails, the dollar goes and so does the RMB.

It will be catastrophic and the main problem is the stores will run out of food in three days and what's the incentive to do anything when what you are getting paid in is shit? I know when the Soviet Union fell people still showed up to work; even though, they didn't get paid. It was habbit and conditioning but that was a society that was do it or else! I can't help but see a looming food and infastructure crises happen after a major global currentcy meltdown.
