It's getting more and more difficult for these people.

The other parts of the industry can come up with various terrorist fear scenarios but it must be a bit tricky to come up with some fear whereby you have to give them billions to bomb the 'terrorists'.

I'm not one for cuntspiracy theories but would it not make sense for the US companies to accidentally share some technology so that the US tax payer had to pay for something better.

That may sound a bit out there but remember that during the Reagan administration the argument was that you had to buy incredible amounts of 'defence' shit because the Russian stuff was so fucking advanced it was invisible and could not be seen.

This in the middle of a recession where a hell of a lot of Americans had no job.
