    14 States ???????,,from the Union

Before Ink Dries, 14 States Sue Over Health Law

    – The threatened lawsuits over the health care reform law started arriving at courthouses today shortly after President Obama signed the measure. Thirteen attorneys general headed by Bill McCollum of Florida—who is also a candidate for governor—sued the Treasury, Labor, and Health and Human Services departments and their secretaries. In Virginia, AG Ken Cuccinelli sued HHS secretary Kathleen Sebelius.

At least some of these Attorney Generals recognize this as unconstitutional...

The AGs argue that the new law, formally the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, is unconstitutional. The legislation requires states "to do things that are practically impossible to do as a practical matter, without giving any resources or money to do it.," said McCollum, who managed to get one Democrat—Louisiana's Buddy Caldwell—on board.

Oh, my mistake. The 17th post in the thread only mentions 11 states instead of 14. Obviously, this is an entirely different subject.

I agree but everything has changed now and soon we may see the same situation that drew the Mason Dixon Line and started the Civil War.

14 States throw alot of weight around...

These are not silly lawsiuts brought by law firm seeking cash from smokers .

This is a grouping of AG's lots of power to decide states rights.

Never happen. Notice what political affiliation these guys have.....Republicans.

I am all for the States using whatever legal means to challenge what the Federal government tries to enact upon them but really this is just a partisan play.

The tea baggers aren't as big as Fox News pretends they are........remember their unbiased coverage of rallies last year where the used shots from a different rally to make it look bigger.

I guess comprehension isn't your strong suit there, E...........

Republican attorneys general in 11 states warned that lawsuits will be filed to stop the federal government overstepping its constitutional powers and usurping states' sovereignty.
