I don't find it fair that immediately those that take part of in one of these tea party rallies are automatically construed as bigots and racists.
Mis-informed? I believe a good portion of them are, yes. And frankly I think it's a bit extreme to parade around with "Obama=Hitler" really kills a lot of credibility that these folks have. But I think what it boils down to, is that these people are fearful of becoming what they think is a socialist country and having to pay outrageous taxes, and I guess they in a way feel that the government has marginalized their voice to the point of almost being non-existent to a degree.
And frankly, I do agree with them on that much, I feel that the government and the big businesses of the world are pretty much butt buddies and giving the American people the middle finger, we can argue all day and all night which side of that relationship is hurting America more, but bottom line, we're the ones getting screwed, while the other two sides just keep increasing in size suffocating us more and more.
The health care bill is a great example of this. I felt that we as a people had very little say on what went into it, and rather than just go into the facts or going with what worked has worked across the globe we witnessed a circus on both sides of the aisle. Sob Stories to the left and to the right, and then the media on both sides (fox and msnbc) just shoving bias pieces of propaganda on why each side wants to screw the american public.
Things need to change, period.
