Oh, don't try that higher road crap with me, poopy pants. You and I know full well you would have been full of righteous indignation and accusing Obama of grandstanding and being an opportunist if he'd gotten involved from day one, and then it would have been just another case of the big bad nasty Democrat White House sticking it's nose into affairs that could be handled without them.

Really, Brian, who do you think you're fooling?

It's a NATIONAL DISASTER and Obama LIED saying he's had an "all hands on deck approach since day one!"

Oh God forbid! A President saying he's been informed and involved since day one, even when he hasn't been? MY GOD, THAT'S NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE!!! IMPEACH HIM!!!

You're so mighty with your righteous indignation. :D

No matter how anyone tries to spin this, Barry's blown this one and thankfully secured his one term only. Seriously, I'm amazed how some people still buy into his facade?

I'm amazed some people still expect him to wave the magic Obamawand(c) and magically cure everything overnight.

Fortunately, I was one of the people that never bought into his bullshit from the get go. Thankfully, my hands are clean cos I never voted for the prick.

Why not? I gave George W. Bush every benefit of the doubt for the first four, five years or so. I finally quit when he established himself as quite possibly the most destructive American puppet President in modern history, dancing to Cheney's strings.

                      But that's irrelevant...

As far as I'm concerned, Obama is jumping onto this late, yeah, but honestly I don't know what the guy has on his plate on a day to day basis and don't pretend to, either. I'm glad the government is involved now, because BP has proven they're not capable of handling it on their own and are basically staffed with fools running through the 70s playbook that didn't work back then, either. BP has the bulk of my anger at the situation and I generally think that Obama considers it in his best interests to get this mess cleaned up as quickly as possible.

I'm not interested in spinning into being a Presidential failure when the anger at the situation belongs placed squarely on BP's corporate shoulders.

So, what? You're saying this is the fault of everybody who voted for Obama?

Please, feel free to elaborate...I'd love to hear that logic, frankly...

The motorcade just passed in front of my street on Hwy 1...

That was pretty cool to see...

Perhaps Obama would have been in alot better spot politically if he had't waited 37 days to wake up and finally respond to this crisis. He should have gotten the ball rolling from day one. He didn't, despite what he and his Administration lackeys say. That's pretty obvious.

Actually two have just been named to his oil spill commission.
"Ball rolling" for what? What was he supposed to do? How does the Federal Gov't stop the oil here?

And how do dickwads crying that they "want less gov't"---"gov't equals socialism"--sleep at night when they've argued for years that we need less government interference in big business, then advocate more of it now that a Democrat is in the White House during a largely corporate crisis they've enabled?

Oh, okay. How has Barry "blown" an off shore drilling accident when the previous administration, and nearly every Palin-dream-humper, supported off-shore drilling and gave a pass to BP's horrid track record long before "Barry" took office? I mean, really?
