In no way am I saying that you (or anyone else) should govern yourself, I'm merely pointing out a truism about work. If you are sitting in an open office, you more than likely are not going to be looking at porn pics, right? However, no matter what you are viewing, other people seem naturally attracted to what amounts to be a television set. Look, people need to be responsible for their own actions, that's all. In the workplace, that includes what you are posting as well as what you are viewing. As such, I've made a personal decision as to what constitutes viable internet "viewing" while supposedly working. Once home, I'm free to check out the sites I wouldn't even contemplate looking at while at work, and this is nothing more than common sense. As much as I'd love to sit around at work in my underwear drinking beer, for one reason or another my boss frowns upon this activity. No biggie, I'll wait until I get home to do so. And that same reasoning works as applied to the internet. I'm not attempting to tell anyone what they should or should not post, I'm merely pointing out the practical means for not responding to it. Tempting as it may be at times, more often than not, it simply isn't worth the trouble.

B.) Nobody is giving anyone "special treatment." How the fuck are we "leftist mods" giving a corpse special treatment?
I never said you talk about me and Jagermeister in there. I just said y'all sit in there all day sucking each other off instead of making the real boards more interesting. You know, like Mods should!

I found this interesting. This man was a racist through and through.
Byrd joined the Ku Klux Klan as a 24 year old in 1942. His adopted father had been a klansmen, and he had grown up watching klan processions in his hometown. At various times, he held the positions of grand cyclops (leader of local chapter) and kleagle (recruiter). While admitting his involvement in the KKK, Byrd claims that he left the klan in early 1943. That seems unlikely, however, since a letter written by Byrd to a Grand Wizard in 1946 or 1947 indicates that Byrd was willing and ready to help spread the klan to every state in the nation. This would seem to indicate that he still held the kleagle title at that time.
We cannot know when exactly Byrd cut his ties with the klan, but it was certainly long before 1952 when he ran for the United States House of Representatives. By that time, he said he no longer had any interest in it and that he had signed up as a young, immature man because he thought it offered excitement and he approved of its strong opposition to communism.
