No, he just had a bunch of massive economic and accounting scandals such as ENRON and World Comm happen during his tenure. Scandals that rocked the American economy and reverberate even today. While Bush cannot be held personally responsible, he certainly shared the mindless Laisser-Faire, Robber Baron mindset of little corporate accountability masquerading as "business friendly" policies...
Ahmadinejad: Obama has failed to bring 'change'

The thing is the banks that hold these derivatives want to convert them into something of value by knocking some zeros off the gains. The politicians like Obama have sided with the derivative holders instead of people who actually work for a living. The majority of the world actually gets paid in salary or by the hours instead of making wild and unrealistic gains speculating in the world's casinos called financial markets. Oh, and if they go broke or lose, pass the losses onto the working people.
You can keep this going as long as the masses don't realize they are being screwed and the system is fixed and rigged. Once enough people see it, the game is over. China was smart. They took all the dollars they got from us and used them to buy up real assets around the world. They dumped the US paper as fast as they could and converted it to real productive assets like mines, agricultural assets, and the like. No! You can't have the keys to the wine cellar!Comment

You're allowed to call him a "fuckin' pussy." Of course, that would make you a retard that makes baseless ASSertions that are quite contrary to actual facts. Obama is no more a "pussy" than just about any of his predecessors. He is in fact as much of a ruthless killer as just about any of his predecessors in recent times. Specifically, I'm talking about his intensification of the Afghan War and increase in air-strikes along the Paki border there. You could argue that Dumbya killed more people in Iraq, but he was just a bumbling, idiot killer...
Yet inside of pussy face Obama's first 18 months, we've been attacked--nearly successfully--TWICE: the hijacking on Christmas Day and the recent NYC car bomb.
Say what you like about W., but he was FEARED and RESPECTED for it. He made sure we weren't fucked with again, because if so, he would have brought down hell.
Obama? Ha! Yeah, we're feared.Comment

But then, we could also point out that 9/11 was by far the bloodiest terrorist attack in history, and that far more Americans have died via terrorism under "bad-ass motherfucking ass-kicking" Republican administrations that under the "pussy liberal" ones...

I remember The Bush Administration talking all the time about thwarted attacks and plots.
So you're saying there were NO attempts from 9/12/2001 until Bush left office because our enemies feared and respected Bush???

How many people tried to attack the U.S. post-911 when W. was in office? None that I can think of.

You know, I would add to the plethora of argument against this travesty of a post, but Nick and Lounge have pretty much removed all need.
Seriously, think for a more than a couple of seconds before you click "Post". Seriously, all bullshit aside, this post bolds, highlights and underlines emotional reactionism and isn't based anywhere near actual reality or even intelligent thinking.Twistin' by the pool.Comment

One thing is for sure.
Mobama is the first President in decades to actually try to reign in the insurance companies in their quest to rape their slaves....er...I mean their 'customers'.
This new financial package is the same kind of thing: Designed to at least force the banks to use some kind of lube when fucking us in the ass. If McCain were in office, the status quo would have been maintained.....the insurance companies and banks would be allowed to continue to ass-rape us all.
Funny how the Retardlicans WANT the insurance companies to NOT pay for healthcare costs policy holders have paid for, and they WANT the banks to charge way too much in 'fees'.
Does not matter that the Retardlicans are being victimized as well by the insurance companies and banks.
They must all LOVE to pay more than they can afford for healthcare and financial services.
Even when they are being screwed, they are going to suck the big green weenie and shriek with joy: "YES! TAKE ALL MY MONEY! FUCK ME IN MY ASS! OH LORD JEBUS!"
That is the true mark of insanity.Comment

Aside from that, I would like to see how the Asshole...er..I mean 'President' of Iran has done this world, or even the People of Iran any good whatsoever.Comment

But then again, Obama was brought to you by the Republican Party's failure to bring credible candidates to the game, and I think that's what they wanted so the bailouts and other spending don't make them look dirty.
Both parties are dirty, I'm voting every Republican encumbent out too, that doesn't beg for mercy or reiterates destroying the healthcare bill and everything else like it that got signed up the way John Boehner has.
Everyone's TOAST this election. I think every whackjob party is gonna see my support this year!Comment

Ahmadinejad tells of war on housing fraud
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad says his administration has gained some success in fighting corruption, especially in the housing sector.
"In our country, people who try to take advantage of housing contracts and make billions in profits usually want to point the finger of blame at the state agents," Ahmadinejad said in a housing sector gathering in Tehran on Tuesday afternoon.
"However, the government has prevented them from achieving their goal," he added.
The president did not mention any names, but hinted at an individual who has received up to 110 million dollars in government loans, made large profits by injecting it into the housing market and then spent a few million to accuse the state agents' union of raising home prices.
"What's more is that this individual is not even prepared to repay the loans to the government," said the president.
Ahmadinejad also counted the measures that his administration had taken during the past four years to fight illegal hoarding and fraud.
He said that the government had reduced housing prices 30 to 40 percept by controlling the costs of building materials, dedicating land to large construction projects and fighting corruption.
Ahmadinejad also mentioned the establishment of a nationwide system to register all housing contract including preconstruction sales -- which prevents fraudulent activities -- as another one of his government's accomplishments.
Ahmadinejad's critics blame his economic policies for the significant spike in housing prices that the country experienced between 2006 and 2008.
At one point in early 2008, house prices in the Iranian capital Tehran reached figures close to those of European metropolitans such as Paris and London, while the average salaries were a fraction of those handed out in France and the UK.
Ahmadinejad's election rivals say the relatively smaller decline in housing prices during the past few months is the unrealistic price bubble bursting.
Fighting corruption was one of Ahmadinejad's campaign mottos the first time that he ran for presidency.
