Another one of those classic genius posts, sure to generate responses. You log on the next day to see what your witty gem has produced to find no one gets it and 2 knotheads want to stick their dicks in it... Well played, sir!! -

Let him call his own race whatever the fuck he wants to...
but not on this board..."Van Halen was one of the most hallelujah, tailgate, backyard, BBQ, arrive four hours early to the gig just for the parking lot bands. And still to this day is. It's an attitude. I think it's a spirit more than anything else is."Comment

Watching Bill Oreilly tonight. He was talking with the leader of the NAACP Washington division. Anyways, the NAACP has set up a website teapartytracker.org to basically keep an eye on the Tea Party events to point out & chastise any racism that happens. All the guy from the NAACP could point to since April (the date when the Tea Party sent an official correspondence to the NAACP repudiating all racism, bigotry, etc...) was this 1 guy wearing this "offensive" t-shirt.
I don't see this shirt as racist, but more a statement of facts*. Yeah, the guy is trying to push peoples buttons by wearing it. I wouldn't have worn, nor condoned the wearing of it...just due to it obviously being intended to agitate the opposite side. But racist shirt? I don't see it that way. I think if people have a real problem with what is on this guys shirt, they need to address the issues on this guys shirt. Not the guy wearing it, or especially not the organizations' event he was attending.
Anyways...just curious of other peoples thoughts on the shirt. So far I only have the NAACP's view on it.
I think my main problem with the whole thing is the blaming of the Tea Party due to 1 guys t-shirt at 1 event. No organization can be expected to enforce dress codes for rallies and monitor every single person that attends
Link to site at bottom of post.
*I'm going on the premise this guys shirt is factually correct. I'm currently in the process of some self education on slavery happening in other countries. GO GO INTERNETS - AWAY!!
The shirt is only racist in that it makes ignorant white people stupid since they can't fucking spell a country they're trying to make a point about. I mean, really? I mean, if you're going to be a high and mighty and shit and call out African nations for slavery, at least:
a.) know how to spell them
b.) vaguely know where the fuck they are located (unlike Sarah Palin)
c.) have some sort of point that other than blacks are evil slave-traders too, so it was okay to perpetuate the slave trade far later than most other Western industrialized nations did...
But yeah, tyranny and cult-of-personality fascist looters know no skin color...Last edited by Nickdfresh; 09-10-2010, 08:59 PM.Comment

I dont think its racist, its the goddamn truth. but that guy doesnt belong at that rally, he should be at some black panther rally and wip that baby out when some racist black is spewing his hate speech towards whites and how whites enslaved his people for 300 years.
That guy is tired of blacks using the race card, hes tired of white america carrying the full burden of slavery and running into a brick wall every time there is a debate with or about a black.
I watched that orielly show when that naacp guy was on there. i cant stand watching those racist bastards on tv, the level of deceite is astronomical the way they sidestep questions. the naacp should be outlawed, biggest racists organization on the planet.Last edited by vh rides again; 09-11-2010, 09:33 AM.Comment

They are the ones who instituted slavery in the New World.
It took us awhile, but White Americans are the ones who eventually ended slavery.
Let us not forget also that the ancestry of the plantation/slave owners in the Rebel South were in large part Dutch, English, Irish, and Scottish.
Therefore we can blame Sesh's and the Van Halen ancestors.

By that logic we should blame the Indians, for letting the white man into the country in the first place.

I don't have to...I live within 4 miles of a reservation. After the royal screwing Indians received (encompassing everything from land-grabs to genocide) since white douche bags showed up in this country, I'm all for them getting as much and whatever they can. And in case you might be wondering, yes, I'm one part Blackfoot.
